MVRDV's new digital expierence

"Creating Happy & Adventurous Places"

MVRDV, The Rotterdam-based architecture firm, received a digital makeover.

As part of Team Foster, Chris Wijnia joined the effort to modernize the Dutch architects’ digital appearance by developing a new data-driven website that emphasizes content-based storytelling.

MVRDV was founded in 1992 and has received over 150 awards & nominations.

Data-driven and interactive, the new website offers an interactive overview of more than 124,000 m2 of urban projects in more than 72 countries. The user-friendly interface makes it simple to navigate and discover MVRDV’s many built and unbuilt projects.

The redesign has made it simpler to use by bringing the website, CMS, digital archive, intranet and other brand applications together in a unified experience.

The intranet contains all of the firm’s digital assets and is used by employees to communicate and collaborate. It is also the primary way that the firm manages its projects.

The digital archive is an important way for the MVRDV team to keep organized. It helps MVRDV to manage projects (built and unbuilt), materials, architecture designs, publications, and website content.

MVRDV’s new digital platform will allow it to reach a wider audience and maintain its position as a leading design firm. Thanks to Team Foster, the website is now more user-friendly and visually appealing than ever before.

Whether you’re looking for information on a specific project or just want to explore the wealth of work from this world-renowned firm, the new mvrdv.com is the perfect place to start.
